Having spent more than 20 years in the construction industry, we found the field of architecture to be inaccessible and often detached from the consumers. We think it's imperative to break down this barrier and make the process easy to understand and completely transparent whilst being an economical and less stressful experience for the client. What we offer is a simple, informal yet professional service that will help you to realise what you are looking for.

Our Objective

Many clients will ask for a 'standard' rear, side and loft extension to create more space in their homes. Whilst these are the bare essentials to getting that little extra space, we see every property as something unique. Our aim is to address the needs of the individual and not churn out the same design every time. It's a bespoke service that's tailored to your specific requirements, no matter what these are. We are here to help you.

Johnny

Small Design Studio is a creative studio based in West Sussex, founded by Johnny Lung in 2016. Specialising in residential development mainly across London, he has also previously worked for Kajima Construction Europe, BDP, Steffian Bradley Architects and RMA Architects before joining Dust Architecture in 2012. Johnny gained his professional qualification at UCL in 2010 having first trained as a Civil Engineer.

Ginny

Ginny joined Small Design Studio in March 2021. She specialises in muddy puddles, chasing birds and running around her favourite woodlands in the Southdowns. She also has extensive experience in lying on the sofa in front of the fire and annoying the cat.
